Speakers:
Thomas Maynard, Vice President, Business Development
Greater Phoenix Economic Council
Thomas Maynard has been with GPEC since August 2013 and serves as the Vice President of Business Development. In his role, Thomas is on the California strategy team, with a specific focus on San Francisco companies with high growth potential.
Thomas, an Arizona native, grew up in Tucson and graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in journalism with a focus in public relations.

Ron Price, President & CEO
Visit Phoenix
Ron Price brings 26 years of experience in the tourism industry to his role of President & CEO at Visit Phoenix.
Prior to his arrival in Greater Phoenix, Price served as President & CEO of the Arlington Texas Convention & Visitors Bureau. Prior to that role, he served as Assistant Executive Director of Visit San Antonio, a recognized leading convention destination. Prior to his time in the DMO world, Price spent over 12 years as a Marriott International executive.
Price has long-been an active proponent of tourism on national, state, and local levels and currently serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the U.S. Travel Association and Arizona Lodging and Tourism Association, the Board of Directors for Downtown Phoenix Inc., and the Phoenix Aviation Advisory Board.

Eric Kerr, Director of Research & Business Analysis
Visit Phoenix
Eric tracks the visitor industry's impact on the local economy and the impact of the Visit Phoenix programs on the area hotel market. He also contibutes to business-development strategies across all functional areas of Visit Phoenix.
Since joining Visit Phoenix as an intern in 2006, Kerr has acquired a broad range of work experience in communications, media relations, marketing, government affairs, research and tourism advocacy. He is an active member in the Travel and Tourism Research Association and serves on the board of the Western Chapter of the Travel and Tourism Research Association.
